The cause

Through Prostate Cancer Canada, the proceeds from Pants Off for Prostate Cancer will be invested in rigorously peer-reviewed prostate cancer research, support services and resources to improve the way we detect, treat, and care for all Canadians affected by the most common cancer in men.

One in Eight Canadian men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. Each diagnosis is shared with a man's family, friends, and wider community. In 2015, approximately 24,000 Canadian men were diagnosed with prostate cancer. During the same year, approximately 4,100 men died from the disease. When detected early, prostate cancer is over 90% detectable, which is why men are encouraged to talk to their doctor about their personal risk.
